When you’re done with sqlstate 01000, dbcc error 2528, this guide should help.

I have a reindex automation job running on SQL 2000. The job calls a very sp (very well known to me ‘sp_reindex’) create call. SP looks like this:

When this task is run, it ends up reindexing the first one in the table as a cursor and fails on a small machine, whatever the second one is. (I changed the position of the objects in the slider to make it easier for you to test.)

Run as user: XXXXXXuser. …calmly. If DBCC returned error messages, physically contact your administrative system. [SQLSTATE (message 01000] 2528) ACCESSPROFPERM [SQLSTATE (message 01000] 0) DBCC execution ended. If DBCC gives error messages, contact your administrator. [SQLSTATE 01000] (message I 2528)

If the SP jumps into Management Studio, it does so with no problem. If I change sp to reindex certain dbcc rows instead of running them all, the step ends when the job is done. If I paste the code generated by printing the results of the buffered process in the task step onto the canvas, it also works fine.

  • I made sure all the objects belongat dbo. I’m stuck and would appreciate any suggestions.

Trying to sell 2528 is the reindexing component of DBCC. I would recommend using Try Notice in your exec statement in conjunction with a catch block and putting a specific “select ERROR_MESSAGE()” into the table. Examine the error after running the task. I know it’s a proper part of SQL programming, but if you have tasks like this you’ll see that the actual error message usually goes away with the pressure drop that DBCC throws out. Here is the practical code
